Hey there lovelies, so this is my first ever blog, not really sure what I'm doing... but lets give it a go!! (be kind, any pointers will be gratefully received) x

I just love the muted pastel shades all randomly mixed together, sage green, lavender, dew grey, off white & tones of blues...perfect for a statement Spring Cardi

Previously I've only ever used one type of yarn, but this time I've experimented by introducing different yarns to create texture...& I'm lovin' the result..just adds another dimension to the shaggy cut yarns...

If you want read on...here's a couple of things you might not know about me...

I have a fashion design degree (from the early 90's, yes I'm that old but only feel 26)!! I've been in the fashion industry for over 30 years...! Yes a lifetime of doing what I've only ever wanted to do from the age of 5, Its been a hard slog, but I've loved it!

I love living life in colour, 🌈 I love being surrounded by & wearing colour... you'll rarely find me in all black anymore...I find it dulls my mood & personality (maybe that's why I've been dying my hair all shades of pink & purple for the last few years)! .
I encourage everyone to add some colour in to their lives. It really does make a difference to your mood & wellbeing.

I come up with the ideas, develop, create & hand loop each cardi myself in my colourful (obviously) garden studio in Whitefield, Manchester...

Each cardi is unique & individual, they're made with many hours of looping yarn & Love . I see them as a piece of wearable art that you'll be able to love wearing for many years to come. This is slow fashion that will last a lifetime..
