Meet the first SHAGGY LOOPY CARDI of 2024 from The LoVe Collection made by me, Liz at @caru_ti_clothing π€π€π€ I just love the muted pastel shades all randomly mixed together, sage green, lavender, dew grey, off white & tones of blues...perfect for a statement Spring Cardi π«Ά Previously I've only ever used one type of yarn, π§Ά but this time I've experimented by introducing different yarns to create texture...& I'm lovin' the result..just adds another dimension to the shaggy cut yarns... π If you want read on...here's a couple of things you might not know about me... I have a fashion design degree (from the early 90's, yes I'm that old but only feel 26 π)!! I've been in the fashion industry for over 30 years...! Yes a lifetime of doing what I've only ever wanted to do from the age of 5, Its been a hard slog, but I've loved it! I love living life in colour, π I love being surrounded by & wearing colour... you'll rarely find me in all black anymore...I find it dulls my mood & personality (maybe that's why I've been dying my hair all shades of pink & purple for the last few years)! π©·π. I encourage everyone to add some colour in to their lives. It really does make a difference to your mood & wellbeing.π I come up with the ideas, develop, create & hand loop each cardi myself in my colourful (obviously) garden studio in Whitefield, Manchester... Each cardi is unique & individual, they're made with many hours of looping yarn & Love β€οΈ. I see them as a piece of wearable art that you'll be able to love wearing for many years to come. So last night I #customised these cute #kidsfashion jumpers with loopy yarn in a chevron design ready to sell at this weekends @_makersmarket .. how gorgeous do they look...!? ππ€π©· The colours used are soft & subtle shades of lavender, sage & powder pink... I just love the #lilac & #winterwhite base jumpers.... Lilac is a soft & gentle colour which symbolizes friendliness, innocence, & youthfulness. lilacs bloom in the spring, the colour can also represent new beginnings. Winter white is seen as the colour of everything light & pure; of weddings & winter wonderlands. In some regions it stands for purity, innocence. Sage represents wisdom, intelligence, & experience. & being a green it always symbolises harmony, nature, & freshness.
